Discover Deki's Warung

When you're in Bali, seeking a place that perfectly blends local charm with delicious flavors, Deki's Warung is an absolute must-visit. Nestled in the serene area of Jl. Pantai Balian No.79, Lalanglinggah, Kec. Selemadeg Bar., Kabupaten Tabanan, Bali, this spot offers an authentic taste of Balinese cuisine with a personal touch that makes it stand out among the island’s many dining options.

As soon as you walk into Deki's Warung, you're greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels both local and cozy. The restaurant offers a peaceful setting that overlooks the lush greenery surrounding it, providing a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whether you're coming in for a quick bite or settling in for a leisurely meal, the relaxed vibe is perfect for any occasion.

The menu at Deki's Warung is a reflection of the rich culinary culture of Bali, featuring an array of traditional dishes with fresh, local ingredients. One of the most popular dishes is the Babi Guling, a Balinese-style roasted pork that's seasoned to perfection and slow-cooked for hours. The meat is incredibly tender, with a crisp, flavorful skin that adds the perfect texture to every bite. Paired with rice and a delicious assortment of sambal and vegetables, this dish is a true Balinese experience.

Another standout at Deki's Warung is their seafood selection, particularly the Grilled Fish. Bali is surrounded by the sea, and the freshness of the local catch truly shines in this dish. The fish is grilled with a simple yet flavorful marinade, allowing the natural flavors to speak for themselves. Served with a side of rice and a zesty salad, it's the ideal meal for seafood lovers.

For those looking for something a bit lighter, the Gado-Gado is a wonderful choice. This Indonesian salad is a refreshing mix of steamed vegetables, boiled eggs, and tofu, all topped with a rich, peanut sauce. It's a dish that feels both nourishing and indulgent, making it a perfect balance for any meal.

At Deki's Warung, the experience isn't just about food; it's about the entire vibe of the place. The owners are incredibly welcoming and always eager to share their knowledge of the dishes, making you feel like you're part of their family. The service is efficient yet personal, and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is top-notch.

In addition to the savory meals, Deki's Warung also offers a selection of beverages that complement the food perfectly. You can enjoy a cold Bintang beer, a refreshing coconut drink, or try one of the local juices made from tropical fruits like mango or papaya. These drinks are perfect for cooling down while enjoying the tropical ambiance of Bali.

For dessert, don't miss out on their Klepon, a traditional Balinese sweet made from sticky rice, palm sugar, and coconut. It's a perfect way to end your meal on a sweet note. The Deki's Warung staff often suggests pairing it with a strong cup of Balinese coffee, which makes for an unforgettable finish to your meal.

Deki's Warung isn't just about great food; it's about immersing yourself in the local culture and experiencing Bali through its flavors. Whether you're a local or a tourist, the authenticity and hospitality here will make you feel like you’ve found a hidden gem. • Small simple cafe on the cliff of Balian Beach where the view overlooks the Indian Ocean and you can see the surfer on their action. Best time to come is during sunset time I guess. Walk down to the beach and take photo at the path with Pandana Trees is a good spot too, Drink, food, Pisan Goreng (fried Banana is no 1)

  • Great place with amazing views of the beach and surfers not to mention being the best place in town for the best sunset view. Really nice played back vibe great cheap food and the beer is always icy.

  • Great little Warung in Balian Beach. On the cliffs over looking the black sand beach. Popular with Surfies as I’ve discovered, but that’s not me, seems like more effort than it’s worth. Tried the beef burger, small by Aus standards and wasn’t a fan of the sauce, but that’s just my taste. However, the homemade real fries were an absolute standout . Cold Bintang was the other at $3.50 Australian.
